Independent 9074 by Phi
This was I thought one of Phi’s harder crosswords. The simplicity of the parsing in many cases doesn’t reflect the ease of solving.
But as always and as we have come to expect he has set a fair challenge full of good clues.
Financial Times 15087 by FALCON
A neat pleasant challenge from Falcon today. Generally easy with a dash of inventive cluing that kept me away from a complete solve just a tad longer. I did learn a couple of new meanings to words that I already did know. Thanks Falcon, for a good workout today.
