Never knowingly undersolved
My first blog entry for several years, so be patient!
This was a fairly straightforward solve, with no clue taking more than a minute to solve. I don’t like the use of names as synonyms in the middle of clues which spoiled a couple of them for me, but that’s a personal thing.
I thought PETO (unusual for a Friday) set a puzzle that was more approachable than some his earlier servings. I still needed to use the internet to confirm my answers for a couple of clues which I hadnt come across before. 14ac could use some help.

Another good and interesting puzzle from Gozo, as we have come to expect from him. Always a pleasure to solve and blog.
Typical Tuesday puzzle. Mostly easy clues with straightforward wordplays.
A reunion with the Don this Friday. A very pleasant challenge with some clues that were just out of reach (annoyingly so) as a direct solve. I had to resort to looking up Google for confirming the parsing for a couple of clues.
Always a pleasure to see Redshank’s name at the top of a grid.

A middle-difficulty puzzle from Monk, clues are absolutely watertight as usual. Thanks Monk for another top-quality puzzle.

An excellent challenge from MUDD today! Several fantastic clues peppered all over the grid and a real treat for someone wanting to bite into tantalizing cryptic crosswords.
