A tricky puzzle from Monk, but no surprise there! There are two that I can’t explain, any help appreciated.
Nothing to say beyond what one usually says. Dac is as always on fine form and the surfaces and soundness of all the clues are exemplary.

Tricky and fun from Arachne today. I groaned at 3dn, especially liked 18ac, 25ac and 23dn, and loved the definition for 2dn.
