This puzzle definitely felt like a change of pace for me, with some of the cluing outside the conventions of the puzzles that I normally solve. There were a couple of solutions that I could not parse without the setter’s explanations, which was not so much the fault of the clues as a result of my lack of the requisite GK.

Apart from a couple of clues, an uncommonly gentle offering from Azed this week.
I started in on this at a pretty good clip before getting bogged down about halfway. Ultimately, this proved nothing too strenuous for a Tuesday, with the usual fine assortment of clues from Artexlen.
For my first time blogging a Phssthpok puzzle, this proved to be quite the inaugural challenge, with a pleasant mix of cryptic devices.
Apart from a few tricky/innovative clues, this Prize entry felt relatively straightforward.

A pleasant diversion from Flimsy, with some witty flourishes
After breezing through half this puzzle, I needed to engage with a bit more attention to work out the other half, with Neo offering several truly ingenious clues, with quite a few witty surfaces.
I had several false starts on this puzzle from Slormgorm, but having completed it now, I cannot pinpoint any reason for my difficulty.
Just when I think I am really getting the hang of these puzzles, I run headlong into a workout like today’s offering from Aardvark, which required quite a bit of GK and lateral thinking before I finally struggled through the final clue.
A payoff awaits at the end of Soup’s tour-de-force series of innovative (unorthodox?!?) clues in this week’s Prize slot . . .
