Jane, thank you so much for putting these online for me. I must quickly say that as well as Anax it was in fact Chris (Bert in BertandJoyce) who took the photos. Some lovely pictures of a most enjoyable afternoon, and some new faces to add to our little community. Make sure you and John don’t miss the next one!

Yes, thanks to Jane for posting those, and thanks to everyone for making the newcomers like me so welcome (and to Peter for organising).

A good weekend all round for Mrs flashling and me, hope we didn’t scare the beery hiker from attending anymore.
As we’re moving to Suffolk soon anyone else interested in an East Anglia do sometime?

Sil might be interested, flashling, since East Anglia is practically The Netherlands. Glad you both enjoyed it.

Very enjoyable day out in Derby. Thanks to Kathryn’s Dad for the organisation and Bert and Anax for some good photos.

flashling @3 – of course not – I’ll definitely attend again (possibly even in East Anglia) – thanks to both of you and Anax for persuading me to stay out so long…

    Thanks, Dean & Bert.
    And Peter & Jane, too.

Why is there hardly ever a smile on my face when someone takes a photograph of me? I’m quite a cheerful and optimistic person …..

Now, East Anglia may be as flat as the Netherlands (not sure about that, however) and Suffolk is more or less around the corner, it is also close to Cambridge.
    So yes, Flash!

Organising a do in the East is something that’s already on my mind for a long time. From September onwards I’ll have plenty of time to think about that even more!

These look like fodder for a caption competition, maybe?

Thanks to Anax and Chris, too, of course!

Glad everyone had a great time (we did too for obvious reasons…), but we missed you all!

Does anyone know the likely whereabouts of the A4 sheet bearing the signatures of the Indy setters? Eimi and I are keen to get our hands on it. Presumably Poins, Tyrus, Donk…will have seen it at some point.

    Thanks in advance.

John – when I signed Andy Cole had it.
