November 1st 1954 was a momentous day in the life of your site administrator.
BUT – fifty-two years later on November 1st 2006, there appeared something more momentous. The launch of Fifteensquared.
The site was founded by Neil Wellard (neilbubya) and he ran it for about two or three years when the site was handed over to Geoff Moss (Gaufrid).
In June 2022, the baton passed to Ken MacKenzie (kenmac).
In the past twenty years there have been 26,684 posts (and counting) and a couple of our bloggers have reached the remarkable 1,000 posts as shown in this table:

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the site over the past twenty years and here’s to the next twenty.
A phenomenal resource for solvers and setters alike. Thanks to everyone involved in keeping the lights on, and the blogs coming – and many happy returns!
How fabulous ! It’s a fine example of the proper civilised use of the World Wide Web.
Thanks Ken. We were looking forward to reaching 1,000 but progress will be a lot slower after November 1st unless a solution can be found for the Indy cryptic. Here’s hoping…….
This is a great and useful site. Many thanks to everyone who inputs and comments – invaluable.
