Many thanks for the blog. It’s always good to see Pabulum (aka Dumpynose of old).
I had question marks for the parsing of several clues. I knew YATAGAN as I had cause to use it in one of my own puzzles a while back but was defeated by the YAh and TAG combination.
I’m generally not looking out for unannounced medieval Roman numerals as in SCOPA and the Henry/Hank removal passed me by.

I have railed long and hard for many years (mainly in my Private Eye/Cyclops blogs) about the ubiquity of Trump references in crosswords since his first presidency… Trump’s bottom for P; Trump’s leader for T, etc., etc, ad (almost) infinitum…
But even this grumpy old curmudgeon has to admit to a life-affirming laugh-out-loud moment when the penny dropped on this one!
