The memorial service for Araucaria will be held at Somersham church this Saturday, 4 January, at 2:30 pm. Some people are planning to assemble for lunch first in the nearby Rose & Crown pub.
The nearest station to Somersham is Huntingdon; a journey in a standard cab will cost £18–£20, but there will be shared multi-seaters meeting trains at Huntingdon. My other half brought home from Araucaria’s memorial two crosswords which were given out. Unfortunately one of them (labelled “Telegraph Christmas Toughie by Elgar”) has a second sheet of clues which he didn’t get. Can anyone let me have a copy?
