The annual lunch for Times setters is taking place on 23rd May and this will be followed by a Sloggers and Betters get-together in The Town of Ramsgate (62 Wapping High Street E1) from 4pm onwards. All welcome.

Yes, these have been most enjoyable in the past. Won’t be able to get to this one unfortunately but am sure it will a great occasion for setters and solvers and anyone else interested in attending it.
I’m off to Stratford that day to see ‘Hamlet’, so I’ll miss it too – enjoy it!
I’ll be heading there after work. Looking forward to it!
I’m tired now, and a little emotional, but how lovely it was to see Alchemi, Donk, Rorshach, Robi, Gervase, Matthew, Hieroglyph, Big Dave, Dave T, Cryptic Sue, Peter B, Flashling, and others, principally survivors of the crosswording high office, all of whom seem to have made it to the Ram of Townsgate (thank you RP). A cracking meet populated by at least all of the above, and some lovely puzzles too.
