I have just heard of the passing of Allan Scott who was a former Everyman setter. Thanks to crypticsue for the following link: RIP Allan Scott aka Campbell
Neil Shepherd, who died in April 2022, set crosswords for the Financial Times (as Alberich) and for the Independent (as Klingsor). He was highly regarded among setters and solvers alike for his impeccably fair and elegant puzzles.
